Product Overview
Sodium methylparaben and sodium ethylparaben are white, hygroscopic powders, odorless or with a slight characteristic odor. They are easily soluble in water and soluble in ethanol and propylene glycol, showing alkaline properties. Their main characteristics are safety, high efficiency, and broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity, providing strong inhibition against mold, yeast, and bacteria. After entering the human body, the products decompose into p-hydroxybenzoic acid and are excreted in the urine. They are widely used for preservation in the pharmaceutical and food industries.
